This year’s Poster – Let’s Fill the Skies with Music
We have a new poster for Music Monday. Internationally-recognized illustrator Cinders McLeod has captured the joyful and celebratory spirit of Music Monday and this year’s historic song collaboration between Commander Hadfield and Ed Robertson. These Stars of the music world and outer space are joined together by diverse and colourful singing notes that represent Canada’s ten provinces and three territories united in song to fill the skies with music.
The poster was designed by Donovan Bond, an award-winning Senior Art Director at one of Canada’s foremost marketing agencies, Donovan Bond Image and Design. Donovan combines a passion for conceptual design with a love of illustration, both traditional and digital. While not a musician in the traditional sense, Donovan is known for channeling music through dance.
